As part of the technology dissemination programme, participating farmers were provided with Bio-Phos, a phosphate-solubilizing microbial bioformulation developed by ICAR-NBAIM. Scientists demonstrated its method of application and explained its role in converting insoluble phosphorus in the soil into plant-available forms, thereby improving phosphorus uptake, promoting plant growth, and enhancing crop yields.

The programme highlighted the immense potential of microbial bioinputs in improving soil health, enhancing nutrient-use efficiency, reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers, and advancing environmentally sustainable agriculture.

A total of 57 farmers, including 30 men and 27 women, participated in the programme.
