ICAR-CTCRI, Thiruvananthapuram Organizes Shramdaan and Cleanliness Drive under Swachhata Hi Seva 2026

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026, ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram, organised a Shramdaan and cleanliness drive in the local corporation area near the Institute’s International Guest House today.

Smt. K. P. Sindhu, Ward Councillor, Alathara Ward, Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation, participated in the Shramdaan and joined the cleaning and sanitation activities. 

Dr G. Suja, Director (In-charge), ICAR-CTCRI, also participated in the initiative along with the Institute’s staff members and other participants.

The activity aimed to promote community participation in cleanliness and sanitation and reinforce the importance of collective efforts towards maintaining clean and hygienic public spaces. The initiative reflected the Institute’s commitment to supporting the objectives of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign and fostering greater awareness and participation in cleanliness activities among the community.
