Quality Council of India and ICAR-NRC on Pig join hands to promote NABL Accreditation Awareness

ICAR-National Research Centre on Pig, Rani, Guwahati, conducted an Awareness Programme on “NABL Accreditation & its Benefits” under the NABL QCI Gunvatta Yatra on 30 September 2026, in collaboration with Quality Council of India.

The programme was coordinated by Dr Vivek Kumar Gupta, Director, ICAR-NRC on Pig. Technical sessions covered the NABL testing and calibration process, overview of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, accreditation procedures and NABL documentation. A Question & Answer session provided participants an opportunity to clarify aspects of laboratory accreditation.

The programme had 48 participants representing 15 academic and research institutes in and around Guwahati, including ICAR institutes, Cotton University, NIPER Guwahati, Guwahati Medical College, Assam Engineering College, Assam down town University, Assam Don Bosco University, Arya Vidya Peeth College and Handique Girls College.
