As part of the nationwide Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2026, being observed from 17 September to 2 October under the theme “Swachhta Mein Sahbhag – Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat,” the ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad, organized a Swachhtha Samvad at its adopted Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) village, Dhurwaguda in Indravelly Mandal of Adilabad District, Telangana, today.
The programme focused on creating awareness among villagers about cleanliness, waste management and the importance of waste segregation. A cleanliness drive was subsequently carried out in the village with the active participation of around 30 villagers and ICAR-CRIDA personnel.
