Shri. Bhagwanth Khuba (MoS, Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India) participated in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra organised by ICAR- Shri Siddhagiri Krishi Vigyan Kendra, kaneri, Kolhapur, Maharashtra today.

Shri. Khuba talked about various initiatives the government took for the holistic development of the village and making India Atma Nirbhar. He also stressed reaching the unreached section of society through various welfare schemes and initiatives.

Shri. Khuba visited the demonstration plots (under natural farming practices) of KVK, Kaneri and informed about various initiatives to promote natural farming and sustainable agricultural practices, Vermicomposting, Goshala etc. for the farming community. He also interacted with P.P. Adrushya Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji, Chairman, Shri Siddhagiri Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kaneri, Kolhapur, Maharashtra and the staff of KVK.

On this occasion the Shri Arun Bhigardeve (DSAO, Kolhapur), Dr. Ravindra Singh (Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Kaneri), Shri Nishant Patil (Sarpanch, Kaneri) and Shri Vijay Yadav (BDO, Karveer) were present.
