The ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology, Kolkata organized the five-day Training Programme on “Agri-Business, IP Management and Entrepreneurship Development in Natural Fibre Sector” from 23rd to 27th November, 2021.
In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Dr. K. Srinivas, ADG (Intellectual Property & Technology Management), ICAR stressed on the importance of technology valuation and commercialization of research outcomes of the public funded research organizations like ICAR.
Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata emphasized on the importance of the IP era in tandem with the IP Management of the Institute.
The Senior Officials of ICAR and various Departments of the Government of India also participated in the programme.
A total of 27 participants including 3 ABI-Incubates from the different organizations participated in the programme.
