ZMC visit to NICRA KVKs of Rajasthan State under ICAR-ATARI, Jodhpur

The Zonal Monitoring Team under NICRA Project organized a visit to three Krishi Vigyan Kendras of Rajasthan State (Bharatpur, Jhunjhunu and Kota) from 4th to 6th February - 2019.
On 4th February - 2019, the team visited KVK, Bharatpur and interacted with KVK. The team supervised the TDC activities undertaken at Sitara and Sehanti villages under NICRA project. During the visit, some valuable suggestions to further improve and scale-up the climate resilient technologies to benefit the farming community were also provided by the Chairman and other members.
On 5th February - 2019, the ZMC team visited Bharu NICRA village adopted by KVK, Jhunjhunu. The team monitored different interventions implemented under NRM, Crop, Livestock and institutional modules. During the visit, the team interacted with other farmers, farm women and VCRMC members and verified the implements and log book maintained in the village. The ZMC team also applauded the KVK’s efforts and active involvement of the partner farmers.
On 6th February - 2019, the ZMC team, visited the Chomakot NICRA village adopted by KVK, Kota and monitored the implementation of different interventions under NRM, Crop, Livestock and institutional modules.
The ZMC team consisted of Prof. M.C. Varshenya (Former V.C. of Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar); Directors Extension (Dr. J.P. Yadav, Dr. Shubash, Dr. K.M. Gautam); Dr. P.P. Rohilla, Pr. Scientist and Member Secretary; Dr. Shakir Ali, Pr. Scientist Agricultural Engineering from CSWCRTI, Kota and Dr. J.V.N.S. Prasad, Coordinator, TDC.
