The ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow celebrated the World Soil Day in the campus of ICAR-NBFGR located at Telibagh, Lucknow today.
Smt. Jai Devi, Vidhayika, Malihabad, distributed the soil health cards to thirty farmers from villages of Barabanki district of UP. Soil samples were obtained from fish ponds of the different farmers and analysed by ICAR-CSSRI Regional Station, Lucknow. Based on the analysis report, Soil Health Cards were prepared at ICAR-NBFGR.
Dr. K.K. Lal, Director, ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow briefed about the overall importance of soil health cards in improving production as well as farmers income & human health.
