Shri Parshottam Rupala interacted with farmers at KVK, Amreli

Shri Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare reviewed the KVK, Amreli, Gujarat today. During his interaction with farmers, he urged that farmers should get advisory from KVK about integrated farming system, proper use of bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides, latest varieties of different crops, etc. Shri Rupala said application of site and crop specific of fertilisers needs to be promoted. He emphasised on convergence of KVK with ATMA and other agencies for increasing farmers’ income.

About 110 farmers/farm women and other stakeholders participated in the interaction.
