Art work is one of the most captivating ways to communicate and capture the imagination of the viewer. Art works are particularly attractive to young minds and pictures conveys and delivers to the mind the content that needs to be conveyed faster and better than through lectures or other forms of communication.
In order to create works of art to capture agricultural, livestock and fisheries related activities which can then decorate the walls of ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management buildings, a residential art workshop (Krishi Kala Workshop) was organised at NAARM during 27 th Oct 27 –2nd November 2018.
A team of 23 artists of Sir J.J. School of Arts accompanied by NAARM faculty created customized works of art - paintings. Fifty two paintings have been created through this workshop.
Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR- National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad inaugurated the Utsav on 27th October, 2018. Dr. B.S. Sontakki, HoD, Extension Division &Director I/c NAARM, Hyderabad presided over the valediction on 2nd November, 2018.
