ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack organizes Training Programme on “National Pension System”

The First Batch of the Training Programme on “National Pension System” organized for the Administrative and Finance Personnel working in the ICAR Institutes by the ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack, Odisha from 16th to 18th June, 2022 concluded today.

Dr. A.K. Vyas, ADG (Human Resource Management Unit), ICAR accentuated the importance of Human Resource in any organization.

Delivering the valedictory address, Dr. (Smt.) Padmini Swain, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack highlighted the importance of conducting the Training Programme on “National Pension System”.

Shri V.R. Srinivasan, Comptroller, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi stressed on timely registration of the NPS Subscribers and Payments of NPS contributions to avoid financial loss to the Subscribers.

Earlier, Shri V. Ganesh Kumar, Senior Administrative Officer, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack welcomed the dignitaries and participants.

Dr. Sunil Kumar Das, Senior Finance & Accounts Officer, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack & Course Director presented the training report.

The Senior Officials of the ICAR Institute, Experts from Protean eGov Technologies Limited & ISTM deliberated about the various aspects of the NPS including the Applicability of NPS, Benefits & Withdrawal of NPS, Investment Pattern under NPS and other related service rules governing the NPS Subscribers.

A total of 53 participants from 43 ICAR Institutes from 21 States and Union Territories participated in the training programme.
