Entrepreneurship-cum-Skill Development Training Programme on “Value-added Products from Fruits & Vegetables” organized

The ICAR-Directorate of Cashew Research, Puttur, Karnataka organized the five-day Entrepreneurship-cum-Skill Development Training Programme on “Value-added Products from Fruits & Vegetables” from 25th to 30th November, 2021.

Inaugurating the programme, Dr. T.N. Raviprasad, Director, ICAR-Directorate of Cashew Research, Puttur stressed on the role of training programme in providing the exposure to the youth and women about the various employment opportunities in the processing sector.

The impacts of the various training programmes by KVKs in the organized and unorganized sectors were briefed by Dr. P. Muralidharan, Head, ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Alappuzha, Kerala.

Around 34 rural youths attended the programme.
